Al Ain football first team succeeded in changing a loss 0-1 into victory over Al Shabab of Oman 3-1 in the friendly match played in Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium.
The first half ended 2-1 for Al Ain and Al Ain goals scored by Mohammed Salem Al Saadi 40, Shehab Ahmed, penalty kick, 43 and Ibrahim Aziz 83 while Al Shabab of Oman goal was scored by Hassan Rabie 2.
The match started quickly from both teams and Al Ain started attacking first in the first minute ended by Shehab Ahmed cross from the left and caught by the goalkeeper of Al Shabab. Then Al Shabab replied by a counterattack resulted in a goal by Hassan Rabie. Mohammed Al Saadi shot the ball by head inside the box making use of Ahmed Al Shamisi sent from the right by a free kick and passed by the right bar 6.
Al Ain applied all possible pressure against Al Shabab trying to draw and start the match over while the opponent team depended on counterattacks where Hassan Rabie was face to face with Abdullah Sultan who succeeded in aborting the striker attempt 11.
Mohammed Salem sent a pass from the midfield to Mohammed Nasser inside the box and the last moved forward before sending the ball that went near the left bar 16.
Mohammed Nasser was about to get his team back after when he translated a tactical plan consisted of six short and quick passes led by Shehab Ahmed who sent the ball to Mohammed Salem who sent it back to Ahmed and then sent it to Mohammed Nasser who also sent it back to him then he sent in between pass to Mohammed Salem who sent it to Shehab coming from the left and sent a cross to Mohammed Nasser who sent the ball by head to near the right angle 38.
Mohammed Al Saadi scored the first goal after great performance when he sent the ball to Hazza Salem who in turn sent a cross to Salem inside the box who shot it by head to meet the net announcing the draw goal 40.
In the 42nd minute Al Ain got a penalty kick when Murshid Al Boloshi blocked Shehab Ahmed inside the box. The penalty kick was shot by Ahmed who succeeded in scoring the second goal for Al Ain 43. And the first half ended 2-1 for Al Ain.
Al Ain started the second half with great pressure after Ahmed Abdullah did some tactical replacements between the two halves of the match. both of the teams played fiercely in many occasions. Ahmed Sahil was unlucky enough when he sent a powerful ball hit the right bar 55.
Again the ball refused to meet the net of Al Shabab when Bandar sent the ball from the right that passed the goalkeeper and the defender and stopped in front of the goal then Mohammed Nasser moved to it but he hit one of the defenders and ended a mistake for Al Shabab 70.
Ahmed Sahil sent the ball to Bander who succeeded in moving forward inside the box using his speed then shot strongly but caught by the goalkeeper 71.
Ibrahim Aziz could translate his colleagues efforts by a third goal when he received the ball from Hamad Raqie enhancing his team victory 83 and the match ended 3-1 for Al Ain.
