In a Classical 1-1 Final Al Ain Wins AIFC 2014
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and Al Ain Club and Honorary Board First Deputy President, AIFC 2014 is over on Friday. The championship included three teams; Al Ain, Kuwait and Al Nasr.
H.E. Rashid Mubarak Al Hajeri, Al Ain FC deputy board member and AIFC2014 higher committee head, crowned Al Ain by the golden medals and the cup of AIFC2014 after the final match ended Al Ain 1- Al Nasr at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium.
The first half was over 1-0 for Al Nasr by Mohammed Al Sahlawi 29', but Kembo equalized for Al Ain 75'.
The match referee Sultan Al Marzouqi showed the red card for Al Nasr Player Mohd Al Sahlawai 39' after he objected many times of the referee decisions.
Al Ain won the first place of 4 points after one draw and a 4-0 win over Kuwait. Al Nasr came second with 2 points after 2-2 draw with Kuwait and 1-1 Draw with Al Ain.
Al Ain played the match with great will to win. Despite Al Nasr scored first, the home team missed three chances in the first half and the post could save Al Nasr in three times during the match; the first was by Kembo 13', the second was by Miroslav 51', and the third by Rashid Issa 90'.

Al Ain won the golden medals and the cup in addition to 300000 AED, while Al Nasr won the silver with 200000 AED. Al Ain Kembo won the top scorer prize by scoring three goals in two matches.
The Title is Back to Al Ain
Al Ain stopped the Saudi team of won the championship title in the past three years. Al Shabab won it two times while Al Hilal once. Al Ain won this year title of AIFC2014 and won it before in 2009 and 2010 to become the most winning team of AIFC.
