Focus on Ittihad Match
Al Ain head coach Zlatko assured that now he is concentrating on getting the team ready for Ittihad matchnin the quarter final of ACL at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on August 19th to play the return in Mekka.
"the friendly clasico was serious and both team showed willingness to win as we saw in the match. Usually the clasico matches are serious even the friendly ones."

"The match was strong and boh of the team wanted to win as if they were fighting to win three points in UAE league which made the match more official and I think both of the teams won the technical benefits."

"Al Ain today played with a new style but they didn’t show the needed level and this may be due to the previous two training sessions intensive before the match against Al Wahdah which is natural. However we are focusing on the match in ACL."

Strong Performance
"The players' performance is satisfying and I expect more from them but I know that they need rest also before getting ready for Ittihad because the training sessions for fitness lifting are different from tactical ones so the team is not giving 100% and I expect a strong performance from Al Ai this season."
