Zlatko and Gyan Praise Abdullah bin Mohammed’s Efforts..Al Ain Conclude Austria Camp by Win over Raja and Return to Al Ain


Al Ain preludes the new season by playing Ittihad in ACL quarterfinal  on August19th at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium after turning the page of the camp in Austria and starts the tactical preparations to get the players ready for the match.

Al Ain finished the camp in Austria by a 1-0 win over Raja from Morocco scored by Gyan. The match was the third friendly of Al Ain during the camp and showed good signs of harmony among the players before playing the ACL quarterfinal.

The team delegation returned to Al Ain On Tuesday morning on a private jet coming from Austria.
Al Ain head coach Zlatko expressed all appreciation to the board of directors of Al Ain FC chaired by Sheikh Abdullah Mohd Khalid S Al Nahyan, considering his presence next to the team in the camp which is an important message to all of the team players and a big motivation for the team before the new football season.

Zlatko praised the players willingness and seriousness during the preparation period and he added: “we worked on incarnating this willingness and seriousness to get the maximum benefit and use it to get the players ready for the coming challenges.”

“We are now at a good stage of readiness for the new season and I thank all the players for the great responses and reactions they showed during the camps and now we need more concentration to be ready for the first leg of ACL quarterfinal match.”

Al Ain Readiness
Al Ain played three friendlies in the camp in Austria. They started by a 3-0 loss to Catania and beat Al Wahdah 2-1. Al Ain first camped in Italy and Played Montikanti and won 2-0 . Later they won 7-1 over Vulghori San Marino and concluded the Italy camp by 2-1 win over Barsely. In the second preparation phase Al Ain came back to Al Ain city and played AIFC2014 against Kuwait and won 4-0 and tied Al Nasr 1-1 to win the title.

Gyan: we reached good stage in preparing for the new season
Al Ain player Gyan considered the preparation period of Al Ain in Italy, AL Ain City and Austria as an important station for Al Ain in preparing for the ACL quarterfinal matches and he added: “huge efforts were paid by the board of directors  chaired by Sheikh Abdullah Mohd Khalid S Al Nahyan  and the coaching and the administration staffs  and were all great which gave us a chance to get all support before taking the new challenges.”

“We did all good things and now we only need to concentrate on the coming trainings before the tough matches at home and even away. We know well how important is what we are going to do to make our fans happy. Our fans also know the importance of the role they play in the matches as they did in the previous seasons and we rely on their support to motivate us to hit the highest points of success.”

Zlatko chose 27 players for the Austria camp and they are: “Waleed Salem, Khalid Issa, Mohd Busandah, Gyan, Miroslav, Kembo, Lee Joo, Hilal Saeed, Ismail Ahmed, Mohanad Salem, Mohd Fawzi, Faris Juma, Mohd Fayez, Mohd Ahmed, Omar Abdurrahman, Fawzy Fayez, Rashid Issa, Diaky, Mohd Abdurrahman, Yusuf Ahmed Mousa, Ahmed Barman, Saeed Al Menhali, Rayan Yaslam, Hamad Raki, Sultan Al Ghaferi, Saqr Rabie and Khalid Khalfan.
